Gangsaw is made up of high quality steel and has four columns well connected and welded with cross beam to ensure high stability in resisting mechanical thrusts. The blade rack frame accommodates the tension of the diamond blades during the cutting process. The blade rack is moved by double connecting rods which are placed at the both ends of blade rack which ensures that its movement remains perfectly rectilinear without any deviation even when more blades are on one side of rack and the block are of varying sizes. The main advantage of double connecting rod is that all energy and mechanical force toward the blade rack are evenly spread. The battery unit consists of ultrasonic tested shaft of 280 mm dia mounted an heavy duty bearings which are enclosed in steel pedestals duly stress relieved. Both ends of the shaft are connected with alloy steel shafts to run connecting rods. Good quality cast iron flywheel is mounted on the shaft. The electric motor activates the flywheel via transmission pulley. The surface contract area of motor shaft is too small and its speed too high for a direct connection with the flywheel.
